ABOUT JESSICA DIXON

 

My name is Jessica Dixon. I was born on August 26th, 1987 in Capitol Heights, Maryland to Carlos and Lisa Simon, 2 very creative, christian parents! My mom is an awesome Hat Designer and my Dad is an amazing Painter. I currently live in Brooklyn,NY. I discovered my love for Fashion Art when I was in High school, I loved wearing unique clothing and loved the idea of designing my own clothing so I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology and majored in Fashion Design in New York City. ​

 

After years of focusing on designing clothes for people, I realized that my strength was in drawing and painting Art that was inspired by Fashion and my Creator, GOD. My parents opened a new church and I created a painting of a Angel to go in their sanctuary and that one Angel inspired my entire New Collection that is a series of painting inspired by Jesus and Angels. My goal is to bring people closer to God through my Art, to uplift people, and for God to speak to people through my Art! Enjoy!
